I’d be cautious with calling Hyundai a “car maker” in the case of the new Hyundai Aero Plus smartphone, since I remember that there is a similarly named company out there making handsets, not the South Korean vehicle maker. Anyway, what’s sure is that they just launched a new phone with flagship specs.
The Aero Plus brings an aluminum body and since the debut was marked by a comparison with the Hyundai Tucson, it may be the car maker after all. There’s a 5.5 inch Full HD screen upfront, a 21 MP back camera and a MediaTek Helio P10 CPU inside. We also find a 2.5D glass panel at the front and Dragontrail glass protection.
This model has a fingerprint scanner at the back and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Specs also include 3 or 4 GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of storage, with the better speeced unit going for around $320. This is a dual SIM smartphone with a 3000 mAh battery and it also brings an 8 MP selfie camera and LTE. No word if it’ll debut outside Philippines or not.
