The idea of a 4 GB RAM phone with a 5000 mAh battery priced below $200 sounds mint, if you ask me. Today that device has been launched in India and it’s known as the ZTE Blade A2 Plus. Priced at just $178, this is a very solid deal and we detail the phone after the break.

Available exclusively on Flipkart from Monday, the handset will come in gold and silver. It’ll offer support for fast charging and a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, plus a 64 bit octa core MediaTek MT6750 processor. There’s 32 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a hybrid dual SIM slot system. The OS is Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with MiFavour 3.5 on top.

At the back we find a 13 MP shooter with dual LED flash and PDAF, while upfront there’s an 8 MP camera with screen flash support. On the connectivity front, there’s Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 4G LTE, WiFi b/g/n. ZTE Blade A2 Plus measures 9.8 mm in thickness, weighs 189 grams and has a fingerprint scanner at the back. By the way, there’s also a 3 GB RAM version of the phone, that’s available in China for a lesser price.
