We’ve tested basically every phone brand out there, give or take a few, but somehow the Nubia models were missed. Today we cover that miss, by checking out the Nubia N1, that gets unboxed below. Priced at around $237 on Amazon this is an interesting midranger, with a 5000 mAh battery.
Inside its box we find a charger, USB Type C cable and there should also be a manual and SIM key, but out unit didn’t have them, since it’s a test unit. The handset measures 8.9 mm in thickness, weighs 190 grams and it’s quite hefty, but for a good reason: the beefy battery. What draws attention first are the capacitive buttons below the screen, that light up nicely in red and pulsate when getting notifications.
As far as specs go, this is a 5.5 inch midranger, with a Full HD resolution and a MediaTek Helio P10 CPU inside. There’s 3 GB of RAM on board, 32 or 64 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, plus a 13 megapixel back camera and a front 13 MP shooter. We’ve got an USB Type C port here, a fingerprint scanner at the back and the main guest of the show, the battery is expected to easily offer 2-3 days of usage.
