Meizu debuted a new smartphone today, the M5c model, that comes with low midrange specs, but also a few goodies. This handset is a premiere, being the first international smartphone from Meizu to ship with Flyme 6 out of the box.
It comes with support for 4G LTE, dual SIM slots and it’s made of polycarbonate. Meizu 5c is available in black, gold, red, blue and pink and it comes with reasonable specs, like a 5 inch HD screen and a quad core 1.3 GHZ CPU. There’s also 2 GB of RAM inside, 16 GB of storage and a 3000 mAh battery, that’s non removable. The phone runs on Flyme 6 (on top of Android), that uses the brand new One Mind AI tech.
This technology learns how you use the phone and allocates more memory to certain apps. The newcomer measures 8.3 mm in thickness, weighs 135 grams and uses an 8 megapixel main camera with 4 element lens, as well as ISP tech. Selfies are taken with a 5 MP camera with ArcSoft beautification algorithm. 16 GB of storage are also here, plus a microSD card slot.
There’s no price for this model just yet, but we expect something around $275 or $250.
