Allview has been extremely prolific lately, debuting several X4 Soul models and here we are with a new one, Allview X4 Soul Xtreme. This is a locally integrated version of the Gionee A1 Plus, that comes with Allview’s own custom software. We unboxed it below and you should know that it comes with a $400 price tag.
The 6 incher comes with the following accessories in the box: charger, manual, USB cable, OTG cable, case, SIM needle, screen protection and headphones. This device is made of metal, has a curved back and dual SIM slots. Allview X4 Soul Xtreme is a 9.1 mm thick machine, that weighs a hefty 226.9 grams and it packs a 6 inch display with Full HD resolution and an IPS LCD panel.
There’s a 2.5D glass panel here and inside the device there’s a MediaTek Helio P25 CPU, the first of the kind we get to test. Other specs include 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. The camera setup is interesting, with a dual camera 13 MP + 5 MP back shooter and the front cam is a 20 MP one. The handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat and offers infrared connectivity and LTE Category 6.
The battery is a 4550 mAh unit, that hopefully is enough to juice the behemoth. We look forward to put it to the test over the next days.
