Those of you unhappy with the current color choice for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be happy to know that one more hue is coming. It’s for those of you gentle and sensitive souls who favour pink ahead of anything else.

It’s actually more of a “Barbie Pink” and the devices will start at $852 apparently. The pink hue comes as a tie-in with a Chinese festival and holiday on the 28th of the current month. It has to do with love apparently, so it’s sort of a localized Valentine’s Day I guess. Only the 64 GB version of the device is available here and people who want to reserve such a model will have to pay a $14 deposit.

The Galaxy S8 Plus model is priced a bit steeper, at $927. Specs stay just like we left them earlier this year, including an Infinity Display with Quad HD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 835 CPU and 4 GB of RAM. There’s also that excellent 12 megapixel back camera, iris scanning, fingerprint scanner and the works. Such a color choice would probably boost the Galaxy S8 last wave of sales, before the Note 8 becomes the more tempting option.
