Nokia X6 (2018) has finally become official, after one or two weeks of leaks and speculations. The device has some pretty solid specs, like a Snapdragon 636 and 6 GB of RAM, which make it sound like an ASUS ZenFone 5 rival. Let’s see what the hype is.
The handset has midrange specs and a premium case, which involves a metal frame and glass at the back, plus glass at the front. Interestingly HMD Global promises that 95% of the device is covered up in glass. The screen is a 5.8 inch Full HD+ unit, with a 19:9 aspect and obviously a cutout. There’s also Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a Snapdragon 636 CPU, a 3060 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage or 64 GB.
You can also opt for a 6 GB RAM version with 64 GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot, a 16 MP selfie shooter, with F/2.0 aperture and face identification features. At the back we find a dual shooter with 16 MP sensor and a secondary monochrome 5 MP sensor. Bokeh is also here, face recognition and lots of filters.
Nokia X6 (2018) will start being sold from May 21th, with Android 8.1 Oreo and the promise of fast updates to Android P. The starting price is $204, for the 4 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage and you can go to $236 (4 GB/ 64 GB storage) and $266 (6 GB/ 64 GB storage).
