The folks of the Chinese version of Engadget managed to get some quality time with DEC M5, that looks like a HTC clone, but one with pretty cool specifications. The handset supports EVDO/CDMA1X connectivity and comes with a large 3.2 inch WQVGA touchscreen display (240 x 400 pixels) with support for handwritting.

DEC M5 also packs a 3 megapixel camera with support for video capture at 30 fps. There’s a Marvell PXA310 624 MHz CPU on board, and a Qualcomm QSC6085 solution, plus a GPS receiver, A-GPS, while the  support for 3G connectivity and WiFi complete the specs list.

Last, we learn that the keys beneath the screen are touch sensitive, but sometimes they can tough to use and a bit inaccurate.
