GeekBench is a popular benchmarking tool that measures a device’s processing power and performance. It’s often used to test the performance of smartphones, tablets, and other computing devices. Recently, the ASUS ROG Phone 7D has been spotted on GeekBench, revealing some surprising specifications.

According to the listing, the ROG Phone 7D will come with Android 13 out of the box and will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 16 GB of RAM. This is an interesting CPU choice since its predecessor, the ROG Phone 6D, featured a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor, which was known for its impressive performance. However, the Dimensity 9200 processor has been recently released and has been featured on the Vivo X90 Pro.

The ROG Phone 7 series is expected to include three models: the ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, and the ROG Phone 7D. The ROG Phone 7D scored 2021 points in the single-core test and 5697 points in the multi-core test on GeekBench. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra scored 1553 points in the single-core test and 5028 points in the multi-core test.

Additionally, the source states that the ROG Phone 7 will come with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, while the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will have 512 GB of storage. All three phones will feature AMOLED screens with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. We can also expect an upgrade in the camera department and new tactile buttons.

Overall, the new ASUS phone seems to be shaping up to be a promising device with some exciting specifications. Fans of the ROG Phone series will be eagerly awaiting its release later this year.
