Black Shark is a Chinese company that specializes in manufacturing high-end gaming smartphones. The company was founded in 2017 and has received significant funding from Xiaomi. Black Shark has been producing gaming smartphones that are popular among gaming enthusiasts who want to experience the best gaming performance on a mobile device. However, recent reports suggest that the company is facing financial issues, which may impact the production of its next device, the Black Shark 6.

According to a recent listing on the e-commerce platform Youxianyu, a Black Shark 6 prototype was spotted with a price tag of $564. The listing suggests that the upcoming device will come with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a main camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor, and support for 120W charging.

The prototype features various connectors at the back and a large camera module with markings. The device is said to run on JoyUI 13/MIUI 13 and feature a 2K display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a 5000mAh battery, extra-large stereo speakers, active cooling and heat dissipation, and a ceramic body.

Despite the promising features of the Black Shark 6 prototype, recent reports indicate that Black Shark is facing financial difficulties, which have led to a significant reduction in its workforce.

It is unclear whether the company will be able to overcome these issues and release the Black Shark 6 to the market. As gaming smartphones continue to gain popularity, it remains to be seen whether Black Shark will be able to maintain its position as one of the leading players in the industry.
