T-Mobile USA has just made official the Motorola CLIQ handset, a first for the US market, since it’s an Android device made by Moto. The most interesting aspect of this phone is surely MOTOBLUR, the customized version of Google’s OS.
Expect CLIQ to hit T-Mobile later this Fall, supporting Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, all of them with updates delivered to the Home screen. The new Moto phone packs a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a full touchscreen display and support for 3G connectivity. There’s also a 5 megapixel camera on board, with support for video recording, plus UMTS/HSDPA, Wi-Fi with UMA and a 3.5mm headset jack on the specs list.
After hitting T-Mobile USA, CLIQ will be made available as Motorola DEXT by international carriers.
