Verizon Wireless is gearing up to launch Motorola Entice W766, that’ll go for $39.99 and it’ll be available on September 22nd. Entice is a cheap device with decent specs, an entry level clam shell that’ll replace Moto W755 in the carrier’s portofolio.

Its feature list includes a 2.2 inch color display with a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, 1X/EV-DO connectivity, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording support, a music player and a microSD card slot (up to 8GB). Bluetooth is also on board, plus a speaker phone, threaded messaging and a 2.5mm headset jack.

All the Verizon services are on board (V Cast, VZ Navigator) and if you’re wondering about the pricing, know that Entice will go for $39.99 after a $50 mail in rebate with a 2 year contract. Moto W766 will also cost $109.99 after a $50 mail in rebate and bundled with a 1 year contract. $219.99 is the price outright.
