The latest HTC smartphone, Touch HD will be available unlocked in a couple of weeks, or via Orange, who offer it exclusively with a contract. Touch HD is already present on the Orange website, listed as a “coming soon” product and it’ll hit the UK in early November.

What makes the device so tempting is its 3.8 inch touchscreen (widescreen WVGA), support for Orange’s mobile TV service, a 5 megapixel auto focus camera and the beautiful TouchFLO 3D user interface. HTC Touch HD will be available exclusively through Orange till 2009 for $128 with an 18 months contract ($64 per month).

This contract includes the anytime mobile Internet browsing option (250MB per month) and you should know that the handset will take advantage of the 3G/HSDPA connectivity options via Orange’s fast network. Other specs of this handset include 512MB flash memory, 288MB RAM, GPS, Windows mobile 6.1 and a microSD slot.

With all the hype surrounding this products release, it has not underwhelmed in most of its features. ProductExpert reviewed this recently and discussed in detail the pros and cons that are most of the time overlooked by consumers and tech savvy people.
