Olive Mobile is an Indian handset vendor you probably haven’t heard of, but you’ll surely remember this name, because they’ve just launched something revolutionary: an “AAA” battery powered handset. Available in India, the product is pictured below and detailed after the break.

Olive is known for its partnership with Haier, probably the maker of this device. Dubbed FrvrOn, this handset packs a 1.5 inch display, FM radio, a loudspeaker and it’s bundled with a stereo headset. We have no info regarding the talk time provided by the AAA battery, but we suppose one hour would be fine.

The device is priced around $37 and we’re wondering if the product will ever leave India and reach other countries.
