Acer F1 should be hitting the market on October 6, just like the rest of the Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphones. This device is really promising, specially due to its specs and reasonable price tag, $482, at least in the UK.
Aside from the cool design, F1 packs a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 3.8 inch touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels), an accelerometer and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera. As far as connectivity is concerned, you get WiFi support, tri band HSPA, quad band GSM, while the memory is 512MB (ROM) and 256MB RAM.
Aside from this smartphone, Acer is also readying an Android device, that should also hit the market in 2009.
