Though they haven’t made a strong presence in the smartphone market Acer is willing to slowly change that aspect with the launch of some very good devices such as the CloudMobile S500. The latest addition by the manufacturer for the Liquid line-up is also coming in strong.
Acer has announced the Liquid E1 as the latest in their line of Android smartphones. The device comes packing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a very large 4.5-inches display of 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The outer case is built having the same dominant characteristics of the CloudMobile S500, with the plastic good to hold back and the Dolby Mobile speaker grill. In front there are the software keys also present on the device before it.
The Liquid E1 should provide a very good user experience, given that it comes with one of the latest and fastest versions of the OS. Another definite advantage is the 1 Ghz dual-core hardware configuration with 1 GB of RAM. The device also comes with 4 GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot for expansion. Connectivity wise there is micro USB, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS on-board. The manufacturer is expected to release further details about pricing and availability during MWC next month.
