Acer has introduced a new handset this week, one that stands out through its 3 SIM card slots. The newcomer is called Acer Liquid E700 and it has been introduced in the Caribbean market. That includes places like Bermuda, Jamaica and Turks & Caicos Islands.
Liquid E700 will come to Digicel stores in that region, but the price has yet to be confirmed. The E700 is a midrange smartphone with some reasonable specs, including HD front speakers and a 5 inch Full HD display. It also has a quad core processor, 4 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 3500 mAh battery. There’s an 8 megapixel camera on board, at the back, with a LED flash, but the selling point is clearly the triple SIM thing.
The phone has a premium look, with crafted top and bottom curves, that increase the grip. The screen uses zero air gap technology and provides a 900:1 high contrast, useful under the bright sun of the Caribbean. This model also has a front 2 MP camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and comes with a one year warranty.
