Acer Liquid Jade Primo can’t be found on its own, but rather like a bundle of products, a “set” if you want of accessories revolving a core smartphone. Launched this Spring and priced at $649, the bundle gets unboxed below. It includes a keyboard, mouse, case for the phone, of course the phone and its dock that expands its features.

The handset itself is a Windows 10 Mobile upper midranger, with a Snapdragon 808 CPU and 5.5 inch screen. Inside its own box there’s a manual, metal key to open the slots, a set of headphones, USB Type C cable and there should also be a charger, that out test unit lacked. Then there’s the special Acer Display Dock, that connects to the phone, a monitor, keyboard and mouse, offering a sort of PC replacement.

The result lets you do some Office work on the big screen and only replaces standard tasks like table, document, presentation editing, browsing or video watching on a standard computer. Made of black plastic, the handset brings a set of specs that make it compete with the Lumia 950, rather than the Lumia 950 XL, such as the Full HD screen, Snapdragon 808 CPU and 3 GB of RAM.

It also has a 21 megapixel back camera, 32 GB of storage and a 2870 mAh battery. Keep in mind that the keyboard and mouse provided by Acer are wireless and they’re meant to connect directly to the phone, from what we gathered. We’ll be back very soon with a full review of this setup. Its updated price is here.
