Alcatel’s One Touch Idol 3 handsets were pretty good back in 2015, thanks to the combo of solid specs and a low price. Now we’re ready for a follow-up, as the Idol 4 and Idol 4S smartphones get ready for MWC 2016. Today we’ve spotted their full list of specs, courtesy of a leak on a support site.
These look like the official materials for both handsets, that seem to pack very good features. For example, Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 offers a 5.2 inch Full HD screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa core processor and 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM. It also brings 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 2610 mAh battery. Then there’s the 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 MP front shooter and 4G LTE.
Things change with the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4S, that’s more of a flagship, sporting a 5.5 inch Quad HD screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa core processor and 3 GB of RAM. There’s also 32 GB of storage here, a 3000 mAh battery, a 16 megapixel rear camera and an 8 MP front shooter. Both models are expected to come with Android 6.0 on board and should reach AT&T and T-Mobile in the States.
