As you may know, Alcatel OneTouch and T-Mobile launched in cooperation a couple of budget-friendly smartphones and tablets in the past. Today, we find out that a new device like this is expected to be launched soon in stores. Apparently, its name will be Alcatel OneTouch Pop Astro and it will bring low-end specs.
This phone will offer a 4.5-inch qHD display with a 960 x 540 pixels resolution, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB space of internal storage and 5-megapixel rear camera. We also get 4G LTE, VoLTE and microUSB v2.0 port.
Alcatel OneTouch Pop Astro will run Android 4.4 KitKat for the moment. In the picture below extracted from a T-Mobile magazine, we see that the phone will be pretty affordable and smart in the same time. Maybe a $100 price tag will be the right price.
