Allview is a Romanian brand that has been quite popular on our website, since we’ve analyzed quite a bunch of their devices. They have one thing in common: they have budget prices, dual SIM ability and decent specs. This is also the case of the Allview P5 Alldro, a model that costs $285 and offers dual SIM slots, Android 4.0.4 and a dual core CPU.
The handset’s box includes the battery, USB cable charger, headphones and its manual. Allview P5 Alldro is a 4.3 inch smartphone, that measures 9.8 mm in thickness, weighs 134.3 grams and features an IPS LCD screen with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Under the hood we have the dual core Cortex A9 1 GHz CPU and a PowerVR SGX 531 GPU, plus 512 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM and a microSD card slot.
This model supports a dual SIM dual standby experience and we also get a dual microphone for noise reduction, an accelerometer, compass and proximity sensor. At the back we’ve got an 8 megapixel camera with image stabilizer and upfront we’ve got a 0.3 megapixel for videocalls. There’s also a Yamaha amplifier on board and a 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery. We’ll be back with a review in a few days.
