I keep saying that those “battery phones” are getting more and more traction and today there’s even more proof in that regard. Allview P8 Energy is one such battery phone, a handset we’ve just unboxed for your viewing pleasure below.
This model is priced at $348 and comes inside a wide box, filled with accessories. This model has a 6000 mAh power source, a dual cell battery, that’s good enough to juice other phones and why not even tablets. Inside the box there’s an USB OTG cable, charger, USB cable, headphones, power bank cable that even has a Lightning jack, a metal key to open the SIM tray and a protective film.
There’s also the manual and Bitdefender Mobile Security code. This one is a dual SIM phone with a 5.5 inch screen and it runs Android 5.1 in a pretty much stock way. In spite of the huge battery, the handset measures 8.5 mm in thickness, which is great, but it also weighs 212 grams. There’s 2 GB of RAM inside and a quad core 1.3 GHz processor, plus LTE support and a 13 MP back camera.
We’ll be back with a full review and obvious battery tests ASAP.
