We’ve tested quite a few handsets from Romanian brand Allview before, but today we get their 2015 flagship: Allview X2 Soul Pro. This device was showcased at MWC 2015, where we got some quality time with it. Usually Allview rebrands Gionee devices, so this one is very likely a rebranded Gionee Elife S7.

The product is priced at 400 euros and it comes inside a flat box, with all the accessories embedded in a compact way. We’ve got a charger here, headphones and plugs, USB cable and USB adapter, as well as a metal SIM key. This is a slim phone, measuring only 5.5 mm in thickness and it weighs just 126.5 grams. It uses dual SIM slots and offers LTE support, while its design involves a dual glass panel.

Allview X2 Soul Pro comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD display, with full lamination technology and an octa core Mediatek 64 bit processor inside. It also includes 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, without a microSD card slot. There’s a 13 MP back camera here and a front 8 MP shooter, as well as DTS audio and a 2700 mAh battery. Android 5.0 is the OS of choice, with some customization, including some extra camera options.
