Allview X2 Xtreme is the localized Romanian version of the Gionee E8 and it’s a pretty powerful phablet, one that has a Quad HD screen and a 24 megapixel back camera. This device is unboxed below and this one is a 4K unboxing, a bit of a premiere for us.
Priced at $562, this phablet comes inside a pretty compact box, split into 2 segments. Inside it we find headphones, the charger, USB OTG cable, USB cable, headphone plugs, manual, screen protection, plus a Bitdefender Mobile Security code and NFC tags. The smartphone has a solid metal frame, a removable polycarbonate back and it measures 9.6 mm in thickness. The smartphone weighs 204.4 grams and integrates a Quad HD AMOLED 6 inch screen, a MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 64 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM.
X2 Xtreme also brings DTS sound, a microSD card slot, a 24 megapixel back camera with 4K video capture and 120 megapixel photo capture via interpolation. Upfront there’s an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. The handset supports LTE connectivity and features a 3500 mAh battery. It’s quite a massive device, but still comfy to use, even for a long time. Its GPU is a Power VR Rogue G6200 unit and the OS is Android 5.1, without too much bloatware.
The camera UI is customized, as shown in the video below. We’ll be back with a full review soon.
