Allview is an East European company, from Romania and we’ve tested quite a few of their handsets, some of them locally integrated versions of Gionee units. Well, this time we’re playing with the Allview X3 Soul Mini, that we unboxed below.
This device is priced at $208 and it’s a metallic compact phone, that comes bundled with a metal key for the SIM slots, USB cable, screen protection, manual and charger. There are no headphones bundled and the X3 Soul Mini measures 7.2 mm in thickness, plus weighs 129 grams, feeling very light. It packs dual SIM slots, a 5 inch HD screen with a 2.5D panel and runs Android 5.1 as the OS.
Inside the phone there’s a quad core MediaTek processor, 16 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and a microSD card slot. Allview X3 Soul Mini comes in gray, gold and silver and packs a 13 megapixel back camera and a front 5 MP shooter. The battery inside is a 2350 mAh unit and Allview promotes this device through its picture in picture feature, that lets you take a shot and include your face in it, while using the back camera.
We’ll be back with a full review very soon.
