Recently, according to hi-tech.mail.ru it seems that in the first 6 months of this year, in Russia were sold almost 5 million of smartphones that have two or more SIM card slots. We also find out that the total sales of this kind of devices recorded almost $75 million.
While the dual-SIM devices recorded a 139% raise in volume and a 87% raise in money circulation, the single-sim smartphones grew by 128% in volume and 82% in money circulation in the first quarter of this year.
As it seems, the Russian public find dual-SIM devices more useful than a regular device that uses just a single SIM slot. Recently, a new dual-SIM device received certification in Russia, more precisely the HTC One (E8).
