A couple of days ago we informed you that Google released the Android 2.3.3 update for the Nexus One and Nexus S handsets, but we also mentioned that it could take weeks for the complete rollout. Well, now Google helps the process, by releasing the update software as .ZIP files that you can access below.

For the Nexus S you can get them from here:

2.3.1 GRH78 – 2.3.3. GRI40 update

2.3.2 GRH79C – 2.3.3 GRI40 update

Here’s the link for the Nexus One:

2.2.2 FRG83G – 2.3.3 GRI40 update

Android Central posted some instructions regarding the process, so be sure to follow them. These include downloading the software from here, renaming the file to update.zip (Windows users renamed it to “update”, because it is already zipped). Next you copy the file to your microSD card and you go further reading the guide here, if you own a Nexus One.
