Thanks to a leak coming from T-Mobile Germany, that rushed and published the European prices for the Apple iPad, we now know that the tablet will retail for EUR 499 in Europe. That’s quite a bit more than the cheapest US version of the iPad, considering that a dollar equals 0.71 EURO.
This leak applies to Germany at least, so other European countries might sell the tablet with an ever bigger price tag, depending on their taxes. The 32GB iPad will retail for EUR 599, while the 64GB one will be yours for 699 EUR and you can add an extra 130 EUR to each version if you want 3G connectivity on board.
Turns out that T-Mobile Germany had to remove these prices from its website, since they are not official yet, but you can still find them on the German Amazon.
