Sources close to Apple’s hardware partners are claiming that the Cupertino firm is getting ready to release 3 iPhone models in the second half of 2015. Those will include the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and a 4 inch device that may just be the iPhone 6C.

All of the new products will rely on LTPS panels and the ones from the 6S Plus and iPhone 6C will come from Japan Display, as well as Sharp and LG Display. The iPhone 6S will get its panel from Japan Display and LG. Gorilla Glass is said to be on all newcomers and we also learn that the 6S units will use a new Apple A9 chipset, while the 6C will get the A8 chip.

NFC and fingerprint scanning will be on all 3 smartphones. The iPhone 5C didn’t sell as well as Apple expected, but the Cupertino giant is willing to give this type of product a new go. Plastic cases are still said to be used in order to decrease production costs, according to sources. This time the price will also be lower, at around $400 to $500.
