Microsoft has recently demoed the ability of testing programs on Windows Phone 7 before buying the software. Apparently, the test showed a better option than the one offered by Android Market or the Apple App Store. Using this solution, you’ll have access to two different applications: the pay version and the free/test one.

After you use the test version and if you like it, you can go with the full version, as an upgrade. The API available right now supports the creation of trial versions of the apps, both with limited-time access to all features of the software and limited functionality or built-in ads.

If you pay the price, you’ll unlock the full version and enjoy the Windows Phone 7 software. It’s all done directly from the app menu, so you don’t have to repurchase the software. Microsoft promised to expand functionality and create programs for third parties.
