The Archos 5 Internet tablet was almost perfect and when we say “almost” we talk about minor flaws like the fact that it doesn’t get the proper amount of Google Apps it needs. Now, the software is available via Android Market, with Gmail, Maps and other apps compatible with the device.
Stability has always been an issue with Archos tablets, so don’t expect each and every app to run smoothly. Does this neat feat mean that future Archos products will be able to run Chrome OS?
Knowing Google’s plans we’d say that a tablet made by this brand with Google Chrome OS on board natively is in the making…
