Archos is another player on the mobile market that aims at challenging the strongest in the business with their fast rate of releases. The manufacturer has set a path straight to the top and is keen on flowing it to reach success.
Archos has already released a line-up of Android tablets and since last year it has made it presence in the Android market felt strong. As more and more device manufacturers realize the importance of having one form of eco-system, they start to orient their efforts towards other devices then just one group. Thus is the case with Archos, a manufacturer that hasn’t dipped its feet into the Android smartphone deep waters. Now it seems that he’s willing to change that and start 2013 with the right foot. What we can now say about Achros is that it’s planing on going from zero to a lot in just a short while. According to the latest info, we are soon going to get the chance to meet no more then three smartphones by Achros having big displays and decent hardware configurations.
These three will be named the Archos 52 Titanium, 48 Platinum and 35 Carbon.The first features a 5.2-inch, 800 x 480 display and dual-core 1.2GHz chipset. The second is actually the more powerful of all three and it offers a 4,8-inch, 1280 x 800 pixels resolution display along with a quad-core 1.7GHz Mediatek MT6589 chip. Rumors are stating that the model could cost near 250 Euro. As for the Carbon, the model features a modest 3.5-inch display at 480 x 320 pixels resolution, 512MB of RAM, 512MB of internal storage and a single-core chip – at the rumored price of 90 Euro.An official statement regarding availability is yet to be released.
