About a few weeks ago Archos announced its latest serie of Android powered handsets, made for all budget sizes and with an appealing design. The devices were only stated to be offered in Asia, though it looks like the manufacturer is ready to bring them to other territories in hopes of gaining supporters.
What Archos is mostly known for is delivering very attractively priced products that are also well designed and built. These include Android tablets and smartphones, the latter recently announced line looking especially good. The four smartphones that are listed from Archos as coming to Europe are the Archos 35 Carbon, Archos 4 Titanium, Archos 52 Platinum, and Archos 53 Platinum.
The Archos 35 Carbon is the main budget oriented smartphone, to be offered for just 87 Euro or $107. It offers a modes 3.5-inches display, at a resolution of 320 bx 480, 512 MB of RAM and a 1 Ghz Mediatek chip. The Archos Titanium 4 goes in the upper low-end category, with a dual-core chip, 4-inch display and 512 MB of RAM. The mid-end device is the Archos 52, offering a dual-core Mediatek chip, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of built-in storage. It will be sold for about 200 Euros ($264). Last but not least, the manufacturerțs high-end model for Europe is the Archos 48 Platinum, offering an HD IPS display, quad-core Mediatek chip and 1 GB of RAM. It will cost 239 Euros ($315).
