Our sister site Tablet-news.com has unboxed the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 ME572C tablet, the one debuted at IFA 2014 and you should really check it out, as it’s the slate’s first unboxing. The same guys who did the unboxing claim they also have the LTE version of the tablet on their test table.

This has got to be one of the most elegant tablets I’ve seen in 2014 and apparently it’s inspired by women’s purses, the clutch model. The product should be priced at around $280 in the WiFi model and a bit more for the LTE unit. If you want to know more about the slate, obviously you can check out the full unboxing here. It’s very nice to see that such an elegant device manages to keep both a decent price tag and a high resolution.

ASUS has matured enough to deliver very good midrange phones and very good midrange tablets. If you look at HTC, they’re doing the same thing, because the high end game is too risky and too high priced to take on, with giants like Samsung, Apple and Lenovo out there. When all’s said and done the new MeMo Pad 7, with its 64 bit CPU and cute looks may just be one of the best tablets to buy right now…
