In April we found out about a new smartwatch prepared by Asus, more precisely about the VivoWatch. Even if at that time the information arrived on the web were just a rumor, now we get to know that the watch is real and it will be launched in Taiwan in the next couple of days.

Asus-VivoWatch

This smartwatch will be available in Taiwan starting May 8th, and later in other regions like Europe. Asus VivoWatch is a device that will bring water and dust proof certification, fitness-tracker features and also a heart-rate sensor.

Apparently, VivoWatch will offer up to 10 days of lifetime, and its battery promises up to 10 years of working without problems. In order to offer such a lifetime, the new smartwatch designed by Asus arrives with a monchrome display that keeps the energy consumption low. How the $149 price tag sounds for you?
