ASUS debuted two new variations of the ZenFone 2 handsets today, the ZenFone 2 Deluxe and the ZenFone 2 Laser. The first one is a pretty posh smartphone, that’s more about design than specs and the second upgrades the camera on the 5 inch ZenFone 2.

ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe has an interesting polygonal design, that uses over 500 triangles in order to mimic the look of a crystal. The specs still include a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, dual SIM slots and Intel Atom chipsets, the Z3560 or the Z3580, depending on the version. Interestingly, both variations come with 4 GB of RAM.

The starting storage version is 64 GB here and there’s also a 128 GB version. Finally, the handset comes with a 13 MP back camera, front 5 MP cam, Android 5.0 and a 3000 mAh battery with quick charge. The ZenFone 2 Laser is basically the relative of the ZE500CL, only with a better camera: a 13 MP shooter with F/2.0 aperture and 5 lenses.
