About a year ago, ASUS released the ZenFone 2, that brought 4 GB RAM into mainstream, as far as smartphones were concerned. It was a high performing device, with a solid case and it was excellent for gaming. Now that device has received a massive price cut, on the retailer GearBest, where it’s priced at just $152.
This is more than 50% less than the initial price from last year and we’re dealing here with the ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML model, the 5.5 inch Full HD version of the device. It also brings 4 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot, plus a quad core Intel Atom Z3560 processor, that I know for a fact is a high performing unit.
We also get a 13 megapixel camera with dual tone flash and F/2.0 aperture, plus a 5 MP selfie shooter. This is a dual SIM Device, with WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, FM radio and NFC. In spite of having a plastic case, it’s ellegantly rounded at the back and the volume buttons have a great metallic look to them, also at the back area.
ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML relies on a Li-Po 3000 mAh battery, able to charge to 60% in just 40 minutes. Even though it comes with Lollipop, the device is easily updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. You can find it right here for just $152.
