Just a few minutes ago we wrote that the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe may come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 CPU and out of nowhere there’s a leak saying that there will be yet another version. So, aside from the Snapdragon 820 one, the Snapdragon 823 one, now there’s a certain Snapdragon 821 unit.
The handset was unveiled in Taipei this week, with impressive specs like Snapdragon 820 CPU, 23 MP camera and up to 6 GB of RAM. Now there’s a list of specs on the web showing a Snapdragon 821 CPU on board. The difference is minor from the S820, namely a bump from 2.1 GHz to 2.3 GHz. Storage goes up to 256 GB and specs stay the same.
We’ll still get a Full HD AMOLED 5.7 inch screen, a metal case and 8 megapixel front camera. ASUS has been known for diversifying its product range, spawning about 5 or 6 models all called ASUS ZenFone 2, then about 3 or 4 ZenFone 2 Laser and so forth. This year the approach seems to be similar.
