A version of the ASUS Zenfone 4 has debuted in Malaysia, under the name ASUS Zenfone C. The newcomer fits within the ASUS Zenfone design lines, with a circular case pattern below the display and a big speaker at the back.
This product is priced at a very affordable $96 and features a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display, plus a 1.2 GHZ Intel Atom Z2520 processor, 1 GB of RAM and a main 5 megapixel camera. It also has 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 0.3 MP front shooter. ASUS offers on this unit a 2100 mAh battery and Android 4.4 as the OS with Zen UI on top.
The product will go on sale in Malaysia over the next days, with the above mentioned price tag. Its code name is ZC451CG, showing it’s a version of the Zenfone 4 A450CG. There appear to be more local versions of this sort, like the Zenfone 5 variant introduced by ASUS recently in India, with a different CPU than the original unit.
