And here we are with yet another ASUS ZenFone model, this time the ASUS ZenFone Selfie unboxed below. We’re testing the ZD551KL version and we’ve unboxed it in the gold version. The handset is priced at around $270, at least in India and now let’s see what’s inside the box.
The packaging is typical for a ZenFone, with a rectangular format and small and round listings of the specs on the side. Inside the box there’s the manual, warranty, headphones, plugs, charger and USB cable. ASUS ZenFone Selfie measures 10.8 mm in thickness, has a curved back and weighs 170 grams. The product is available in black, white, pink, blue, gray and gold and packs a 5.5 inch Full HD screen.
There’s Gorilla Glass 4 protection upfront and other specs include an octa core Snapdragon 615 processor, 2 or 3 GB of RAM and 16 or 32 GB of storage. Then the Selfie also offers a microSD card slot, dual micro SIM card slots and LTE. GPS and a 3000 mAh battery complete the specs list, but the core of the device is its front camera, a powerful 13 MP shooter with dual LED flash.
At the back there’s also a 13 MP camera with dual LED flash and laser autofocus mechanism. We also removed the back cover of the smartphone in the unboxing video, but it took quite a bit of force and nails. We’ll be back with a full review soon. In the meantime you can get the ZenFone Selfie from Amazon.
