Announced in January at CES in Las Vegas, Asus ZenFone 2 is one of the first devices on the market to pack a 4 GB RAM chip, smartphone that recently got priced for $285. Recently, Asus’s board chairman, Jonney Shih attended the product launch in Taiwan and said the his year’s sales target for the ZenFone 2 in countries like China, US, India, Brazil and France is set at 25 million units.

Asus is planning to sell 3 million devices in the first quarter, 1 million phones in the 2nd quarter and later in the 3rd one is anticipated that the shipments to hit the 2 million units mark. If these prediction come true, Asus will accomplish its target sales of 25 million ZenFone 2 devices shipped.
