If you’re on AT&T and you think you have a cool smartphone, think again, since it doesn’t even have Jelly Bean, if you own the Galaxy S III, Motorola Droid RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD. Luckily today AT&T decided to release the update for these 3 handsets and the Galaxy S III will get its refresh through the Kies proprietary software.

The system version gets upped to Android 4.1.1 JB and right now AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have given their customers updates. It’s time for Verizon to do the same and we expect that to happen over the next couple of days. The Droid RAZR HD and RAXR MAXX HD on Verizon should get an OTA notification regarding Android 4.1 soon enough. Be sure to check manually in order to get it.

The update for the Galaxy S III weighs around 738 MB, so it’s pretty hefty. Its huge changelog includes new camera/camcorder filters (warm vintage, cold vintage, black and white, sepia, color highlights), the ability to pause and resume recording and low light mode. There’s also the ability to resize and pause the pop up play, there’s a new Easy Mode available, with large Easy widgets, plus the Blocking mode, that sort of works like the DND feature on iOS 6.0. Swype is also here her, as well as AllShare Cast Wireless Hub support and NFC One Touch Pairing support.
