It’s strange to hear that a luxury phone maker has decided to create an affordable handset model, but it depends on what their definition of “affordable” is. Bellperre recently announced such a device, meant to reach a wider audience and we learn that the phone is ultra slim and highly customizable.

We’re dealing with a candybar unit, that can be made from brushed steel, polished silver and different type of gold (24K yellow, 18K rose). There are also 125 genuine leather options to customize your unit. The device’s specs include quad band GSM and triband HSPA connectivity, a 2.2 inch QVGA display, an accelerometer, GPS, Stereo Bluetooth and FM radio.

The new Bellperre phone also features noise cancellation, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and VGA video recording, plus email, Outlook sync and a web browser.
