In spite of the pretty reasonable specs of the BlackBerry Bold Touch, the device still looks old, because of its dated design. We’re dealing with a 1.2GHz smartphone here, which is not that impressive, considering other phone makers are launching dual core models right now. Specs available below!

BlackBerry Bold Touch aka the Dakota packs a 35 key backlit keyboard and the following features:

  • Display: 2.8 inch LCD, 640 x 480 pixels
  • Memory: 8GB internal storage, 768MB RAM, microSD card slot
  • CPU: 1.2GHz, Snapdragon
  • Camera: 5MP, 720p video capture, face detection, image stabilization
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, dual band WiFi 802.11 b/g/n

We must mention that the handset weighs 130 grams and measures 10.5mm in thickness, which is not impressive, especially when compared to the likes of Samsung Galaxy S 2. When will RIM come out with a more modern design?
