The list of BlackBerry leaks continues, this time with the Curve Apollo model, that features a 800MHz CPU and continues the tradition of Curve models. It includes a QWERTY keyboard and its screen moved from the QVGA resolution to a HVGA one.
BlackBerry Apollo will be a world phone, supporting tri-band 3G UMTS connectivity and download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps, plus quad-band GSM/EDGE. Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and NFC are present on the specs list, with the latter making the handset a potential digital wallet. There’s also a 5MP cam at the back, but without HD video capture, that was kept for the Dakota model.
Just 11mm thin, Apollo will run BlackBerry OS 6.1 and might debut sooner than you think.
