Aside from the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 aka the L Series and N Series devices, the Canadians are also preparing a bunch of other newcomers that leaked in a roadmap last week. Those include a tablet, a phablet and a midrange phone, that may just be the one pictured below.

RSeries-uqs

This is supposed to be the R Series BlackBerry, also known as the BB10 Curve. As you can see, this QWERTY unit may remind you of some similar midrange Motorola or Samsung phones. It looks like your average $200 or $300 midrange handset, with slightly domed keys and a 2 to 3 inch touch display. I supposed that the R Series will feature less RAM and less powerful CPUs than the Q10 and Z10 models.

I expect something like an underpowered dual core CPU inside, made by Qualcomm, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage a microSD card slot and a 5 megapixel camera. I can’t really say if LTE will be available on this model, but I am pretty sure it will be a bulky phone.
