It also has an octa core processor, as well as a fingerprint scanner and a 3150 mAh battery. BLU Vivo 5R can be considered an update to the Vivo 5 handset, that was launched earlier this year. The newcomer improves some things over the predecessor, such as the camera, screen resolution and also the fact it ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow in lieu of Android 5.1.

The product is up for preorder for $200 right now and it will start shipping on September 21st. BLU Vivo 5R has an octa core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, as well as an USB Type C port and grey/gold color options. There’s a 13 megapixel main camera with PDAF and an 8 MP selfie cam, also with an LED flash.

Connectivity options are WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and LTE.
