Want a sweet treat? Than we have the Sharp Q-Pod Android, a handset shaped like a chocolate tablet, or rather a half melted chocolate, to be more precise. This sweet device comes from Japan and even comes with a “Chocobed” charging dock that looks like a fancy chocolate box.
Strangely enough, this unit has pretty good specs, that one would hurry to dismiss when seeing the childish design. Android 2.3 and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor are available, as well as 512MB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera with great performance. Upfront there’s a 3.7 inch display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution, much above the average res on European and US handsets.
Q-Pod will be carried by NTT DoCoMo and chances are very slim that this model will ever leave Japan and also we have no price for it… Well, considering only 3000 units will be made of this phone, the price will probably be steep. Sharp Q-Pod debuts on the market on October 18th, but be careful with your sugar level when using it.
