Apple just added a new dimension to user friendly services. The iPhone not only listens, but also executes the user’s commands through vocal command. And with this, buttons just became completely useless.
Google developed an application for Apple’s phone, which allows them to find answers through the company’s search engine. This is possible by installing a free app which should be available from the iPhone’s App Store and through iTunes.
Google goes even further than the web’s limits with this application, by using the phone’s accelerometer and proximity sensors to determine the user’s intention to lift the phone to the ear and launch the application. Google sees great potential in the voice recognition technology and continues to research on ways to improve it.
