We’ve heard of all sorts of useful features in Android or customized ROMs, but this is the first time we’ve heard of a feature that will aid the drunk user. CyanogenMod is the author of a brand new ROM with such a feature apparently, as proved by the screenshot below. This “drunk mode” will help the user avoid unintentional calls or texts “in the middle of the night”.
Actually, setting a phone on “drunk mode” after a couple of beers is the right thing to do, since you never know who you’re going to call and embarrass yourself. An accidental SMS or call is even more embarrassing, if you press the keys by mistake and all your friends (or parents) hear you chatting with the toilet…
